Founded by Lisa Kubista, 10,000 Hours was born of the idea that you can only truly be successful at what you do if you put your time in.
Lisa has been studying and playing music from a young age. Studying piano and flute, she originally started composing classical pieces in her teens, and was privileged to have a piece performed by the Gryphon Trio on CBC radio. Shortly after, she began exploring writing with lyrics, which then led her to future mentor David Shaw. Lisa started playing in different bars around Toronto as a soloist in 2008.
Within the year, she realized that her music was taking her in a different direction, and that it was time to add other musicians. Over the course of the next year and a half, she play
