All Else Fails

FACTS: (Recording) Well as most of you know All Else Fails have been holed up in the studio since July doing pre-production for their debut full length album. I hear it is going well and Singer Seedy Mitchell of fellow Edmonton Metal-ites In Oath of Hera has also signed on to guest with AEF on the album.

RUMOURS: (Recording) I've heard that after the extensive pre-production phase of the album, not only were there DRASTIC re-writes to most of the songs (lyrically and musically), but a very different edge was put into the vocals. The word on that is they are moving a bit away from the screamo-ish releases of last year, and more into the metal that they seem to love so much. Also, I have it on good authority that they are considering "A World Abandoned" as the title of the disc.

FACT: (Tour) There is not much set in stone for the upcoming year for AEF, but we do know that their tour is already in the planning stages.

RUMOURS (Tour) I hear that a touring bus is in the immediate future, and a certain band from up North is looking to be the touring band of choice to join the AEF boys on the road. My guess is that we'll see them in Northern Alberta and in most of B.C. No word on going east.
