Formed: 2006 Clubs and shows:The Cambie,The Media Club,The Railway Club, The Penthouse, The Biltmore Cabaret,The Backstage Lounge, The Balmoral, The Cobalt , The Astoria, Malone's, The Princeton, The Anza, The Wise hall, The Heritage Hall, and lots of great parties, ya, I saw you there. It had to happen someday...and WE were there. The Anger! The Power! The Fury! And The Filth! Everyone got sick of white belts, emo girl jeans, and haircuts which attempted to emulate Conor Oberst when in fact all these jerks were ending up looking like Garth Brooks as Chris Gaines. Too much shoegoazing, not enough shitkicking. Too much whining and not enough rocking. And thus was born: The Anger! The Power! The Fury! The Filth! Four chords, eight balls, and an ongoing mission to spread the rocknroll word across the rocknroll world. East Vancouver's most enjoyably explosive party-rock quartet. What else do you need? We're available for shows...all kinds of shows. Club shows, teen-centre shows, house parties, boozecans, boat cruises, weddings, wakes, stag/stagette parties, or rolling up and down Granville Street blasting away on the back of a flatbed while the girls crowd the sidewalks, weeping ecstatically. A common love of stripped-down, punchy rocknroll designed to get the blood pumping and the sweat flying. No stubby beer bottle will be left undrained. Good clean fun from good clean guys who are a hell of a lot smarter than their bandname suggests.
