Archilles, a four member band from a little town called Cochrane, beside the cultural beast, Calgary, Alberta. Started as just a jam band, but soon realised the potential to make it in the industry, they decided to go serious, and write their own material. With all of the new music out, the boys decided to utilize the new sound, with a twist on classic rock. The ripping guitars, quick drum beats, smooth bass lines, and seductive vocals, this band refuses to let go of the old, but understands the need for a new sound. The band recorded their first full length EP, with no vocals in the summer of 2006. They soon realised the potential in lead guitarist Kevin Glass's voice. The band consists of four members, Alex Dimopoulos (age 18), Kevin Glass (age 17), Dan Kramps (age 18) and the powerhouse, Sean Gorman (age 18). The band originally formed in 2002, with another bassist Matt Hlidek (age 18), and in 2008 switched out for Dan Kramps, to unite the four-front and bring about a new, clean-cut, harmonic fusion to the legendary material already placed under our belts. Unable to decide on a name that is enjoyed by all, it was soon decided, by accident, that it be called Archilles. Since the name was out, the songs were being played, the band was rolling. They come to you now as powerful as the day they were born, Archilles.

To all of you, most awesome people, who support good musicians making even better music. We have decided to put out the rough version of Not Around, just for you. Expect this, along with 9 other songs, to be seen live, or heard on this site, throughout the next month or two, so keep your pants on and your speakers cranked, cause the best is yet to come!
