Ares

It began late November, 2006, when Bryan and Alex first began jamming together in hopes to one day form an axe-wielding, helmet-bearing warlord better known as a heavy metal band. Alex had been playing guitar for almost a year at this point, so he took over the role of the lead guitarist whilst Bryan honed his skills. After a year of jamming on the side, the two finally recruited Kallum McIntosh on drums. Dean Burkholder shared a spot alongside the deadly trio -playing bass- for almost 6 months, but left for personal reasons. Alex, Kallum and Bryan have been a full-fledged, ass-kicking metal band for almost two years now but only recently adopted the name "Ares". Before this, they were known as "Phalanx". With a handful of face-melting, gut-busting, skin-ripping tunes under their belt, "Ares" aims to take the world by storm, devouring consciousness on every corner of this bleak, predictable world.
