today is march 6 2010, just 2 days after our first bar show! it was awesome! we had so much fun! we were right smack dab in the middle of the list of bands that were competing in the "last band standing" battle of the bands. the croud there was maby 100 ish giv or take, and they seemed to take a likeing to us! we played a 5 song set list to fill a 15min slot that we were given to play in. We started with "D.M.V." Its a really simple short song but its really catchy. after that we went straight into "118'th", once that song was over i had a couple seconds to talk to the croud while ben swiched guitars and then we played a modified version of "Betty Sue's A Tramp", we took both the long into and outro out, but about half way through this song, somebody bumped into a stack of speakers and one of them fell into ben's les paul. luckly not much damage was done and in the end its just a battle wound. lol but any ways, the accident didnt even phase us, we made sum funny faces and stared at it for a second but then it was time to sing again. "All Because Of You" was next and went without a flaw, and we proceded to finish our set with "This Is Going To Hurt". it was at this time we realized that Ben's les paul had any damage's because Ben had to switch guitars again, we were running out of time and it wasnt fixable on stage so Ben retuned his hollow body and we got to play our last song, tho we did cut about a minute and a half off of the song and made the 15 min time limit by a meer 10 seconds! It was a great first show and we met a lot of cool people. We had a lot of fun and cant wait to go out and do it again!
but with all that being said, i think ill bring this blog entry to an end, hopefully i will find time soon to tell you all about the party we put on with "Dahlmers Realm" , But till the, Keep slutting it up Betty
