Chasing Shadows

Chasing Shadows is an alternative indie band from Victoria, British Columbia! The band has only but 2 members, both only 13 years old! They make ALL original songs and are in process of recording a full length album! In total they have over 20 original songs! The band plays anywhere they can, from high class showrooms to parking lots of grocery stores. Recent performances have included winning a Battle of the Bands contest in Victoria, regularly playing at The Duncan Garage Showroom and opening at Sunfest 2009 for The Trews, Wide Mouth Mason, Daniel Wesley etc. How it happens- Eric White plays lead guitar and sings vocals. Brody Reid plays drums and percussion. Eric writes lyrics with some help of Brody, takes the songs to Brody, and Brody gives his input on everything, and it works out pretty well! How it all started- One afternoon in Late August, 2008, Eric & Brody went for a camping trip, it was there where they realized that they truely wanted to be musicians! That is where all the magic happened and they wrote theyre first actual song; together, called "Tomorrow Never Comes." After that they got a plan set up to have a band practice every Monday, there, they each bring in new ideas, work on old ideas, and *poof* the magic happens!
