Close2death is a beautiful voice surfing a sonic wave of metal that churns thru pain and sorrow morphing it all into pleasure just as the blues heals the blues. C2D is unique with its heavy guitar and drums countered by Dee Dial's fervent vocals. Staten Island based cousins Chad and Mikey started C2D as a hard-core/speed metal outfit several years ago. With the addition of Dee singing originals penned mostly by Chad and herself, they evolved into a hybrid of knife-edge rock/metal and, rather than the standard growling male vocals, the dynamic voice of a woman. Sort of a Lacuna Coil with grit. Ben provides expert bass lines and Q adds fitting backup vocals and screams.
