Biography

Darkness Rising was formed by drummer Duncan chishom and A.J. Kovar in November of 2007. The band quickly found a bassist in Steven Cullis and lead guitarist Matt Herauf and established themselves as a modern thrash metal act. The thrash metal band aimed at creating songs influenced by bands like metallica, megadeth, sepultura, Sabbath, sodom, Maiden, and pantera. Darkness rising will continue to work hard and bring forth Terror!

yea thanks dude are drummer couldn't help it we rehearse liike that usually but with louder amps so the guitars are louder and heavier but i had thought the same thing about stage prescence. thanks dude

Hey I went to the battle of the bands and I have some things to say that might help inprove your band. First your drummer needs to tone it down because Most of the time all I could hear was Drums and a little bit of bass, and you had what seemed to me pretty talented guitarists. Also you need to work on stage presence, get the crowd going don't just stand their and play(guitarists were pretty good at this but the singer needs to move more). You guys have the potential to be a great band you just need a more balanced sound.

I loved Bi-Polar. Sick song had a real classic rock feeling. A Didnt love your live song though.
