Desolation Sound

Desolation sound is the brainchild of Jordan Lassalle and Jordan Quinn, former members of the garage/punk outfit The Euphorium. The Euphorium was the first band arranged by Jordan Lassalle, and embodied every bit of contempt, angst and desire for change as its members. About as musically sound as a trash compactor, and just as loud, the band took hold of their home town Pickering Ontario by playing only a handful of local shows, but just as they were on their feet and ready to take Canada by storm, growing tension within the bands line-up brought about the demise of The Euphorium.... yes very tragic indeed. A prolific jammer, Jordan Lassalle soon got back in touch with Jordan Quinn, bassist and musical soul mate to begin work on a new project. Again just as the twosome had prepared enough material to begin playing live, JL was given the opportunity to spend two months on the Asian Club Circuit. Those two months would have a profound impact on JL's musical awareness and depth, as well as his work ethic... although nothing came without a price. On the road JL's steady reliance on more than one nasty habit manifested itself very prevalently, and he decided to commit to some time in Rehab. Once on the outs, JL and JQ were at it again... this time armed with a new found direction and commitment. The boys then took to enlisting the help of Laid To Rest drummer and long-time friend Andrew Rozak to add his signature machine gunner drums into the mix as well as recruiting second guitarist Rory Steele to fill out the wide... often frenzied spaces left by JL. Desolation Sound is now active..... just hope we dont explode......
