Exit 200's self titled EP, to be released on Friday January 27, 2012, is a huge step in creativity and musicality from the bands last recording project. They have worked with renowned Vancouver producer, Evan Morgan, the group’s natural tones and unique styles were captured perfectly. Exit brags versatility with this project, showing they can rock, but also have a very groovy, easy listening side that all blends with a feel that’s consistent throughout the 5 song album. Andrew Poulin’s, bluesy leads, mix perfectly over the rock-funk rhythm section consisting of Jay Vidler and Kelly Hugh. All topped off with the unique vocal styling’s of Nick Goy, this EP is a great listen, and by far the bands best effort yet.
With a renewed roster of 4 hailing from BC's Fraser Valley, Exit 200 enjoys the lighter side of music. This California flavor 4 piece band focuses on having a good time, writing catchy songs, and putting on a wicked, fun show. Exit looks forward to doing whatever it takes to earn their place in Vancouver's music scene. With several high profile shows like UFV's disorientation and Kwantlen College's, Cram Jam under their belt, and having shared the stage with the likes of Daniel Wesley, Ten Second Epic, and Sloan all within the last year, Exit 200 is ready for whatever is next.
