Fanaticus is a local Vancouver band who are best described as” jam based”, “psych-progressive” (which is musician speak for kick-ass rock and roll). And over the past year they’ve been touring venues across the Fraser Valley, while doing their best to unite like-minded bands into a single music scene. Manager; Bryce Sully explains that their (Fanaticus) unique sound and “harmonious” methods ...of jamming has created an almost business-like approach to throwing "parties" as they have organized some of the largest independently held events in the Fraser Valley, most notably, ”Farmstock”, which brought out more than 400 people.
With members ; Simon Menard(guitar / vocals), Ross Peterson (guitar / vocals), Chris Jensen (bass / vocals), and Brad Desjardins (drums / percussion) working tenaciously to establish their position as full time musicians, there’s no telling what is ahead of the young group. With the debut of their self-titled EP "Fanaticus", the group went on to play a solid string of almost 40 dates just short within their first year. Not only has this helped hone their stage performance, but it’s given Fanaticus the chance to play some of Vancouver’s hottest independent venues. With a full length album in production they have high hopes for what the future holds.
Since their creation in August 2010, Fanaticus has been combining innovation in music, with entrepreneurship, while unleashing "psychedelic warfare" on the Fraser Valley.
