We're a mutated creation of Curtis Steeksma, Keigan Funk, Tommy Phoenix, Jon Steeksma, and Patty; individually we are mere mortals but when our powers combine, we bring all the boys and girls to the yard! It is this power that makes FFi's musical juice oh so delicious. For two years we have been working on the perfect blend of water, ice, sugar, lemon, and bromance, to bring you a taste of something so refreshing that you can't help but drink all we’ve got. FFI has been together for two and a half years and in that short time we have earned local radio play, newspaper articles, radio/internet interviews, an article in the popular East Scene E-zine, played the Vancouver Warped Tour date, filmed a music video which has recently received air-time on Much Music, received a FACTOR recording grant, exceeded 100,000 plays on Myspace, placed in the top 20 for the Vancouver Seeds radio competition in 2009, established a large and growing fan base across Canada, and much more! With the release of our "Thanks For Waiting" EP, which is selling well on iTunes and in Canadian record stores such as HMV and BestBuy, 2010 is proving to be an exciting year for Fighting For Ithaca!
