Forbes of the Black Lip

The first time I encountered the band, they asked me to play the cowbell at a show they were playing...as you can imagine it was fantastic. A couple weeks later the bassist left, luckily I had been playing the strings for a while so I gladly accepted the position and we have been practicing in the drummers living room ever since! Did some recording at the drummers school and now hes got his own set-up so its largely done at his place. The name came out of a term coined for an old scottish clan that the singer/guitarist (chris) originated from, not to shabby eh? The first show was technically at a house party in front of a solid 2 or 3 dozen people, and it was a good time.
