Heavy Things

With influences from folk to punk to prog with stops along the way, Heavy Things has a sound that is all their own while tapping into the spirit of Canadian musicians who have gone before. Hailing from Tumbler Ridge, a small town Northeastern British Columbia the band has a sound that is both hard to define, yet comfortingly familiar at the same time. The members of Heavy Things have been playing together, in various guises and combinations, since 2001, with the band achieving its current form in 2007. Their first album, Put to the Test, was released in 2009.
