Hinterland

Hinterland is five piece indie folk band from Newfoundland, Canada. We have influence from a wide variety of genres from Jazz to Metal and everything in between thus creating a sound that is diverse. Our mutual love for music is evident. The band started as a result of Nichole and Britts acoustic live shows, they later signed on bassist Tyler Stanley, who later got electric guitar player Curtis Smith involved, then finally drummer Dan Greene was recruited. After many months of writing and jamming, we felt our sound was where we needed it to be and have since been playing live with very positive response.
