Biography

We are the Hounds of Merry. We love to write, record, practice and play music. Its our eternal fountain of youth that keeps us young, energized and ALIVE. We came together as a band in the winter of 2006. All of us have been playing music since our high school days and collectively have many years of experience. We plan to be rockin out until we can no longer pick up a guitar, a mic or a set of sticks. And even then we'll find ways to make some noise. Our music is at times heavy and hard hitting, always melodic, and never boring. Jonas Lane uses a Peavey all-tube amp head through a Marshall cab which conjures up lots of rich and heavy distortion. A bank of effect pedals and captivating riffs starts the kaleidoscope of sounds you'll hear in our music. Nick Voltage has an incredible vocal range and strong sense of melody when it comes to song writing. He works tirelessly to always pen great vocal melodies and harmonies that you will remember the first time hear them and entice you to sing along. Frankie Starr and Whytey glue it all together as one cohesive rhythmic unit. They provide a pounding rhythm section with all the fills and thrills it takes to make our four piece sound like twelve. And when its all written and polished, we deliver it LIVE with as much passion and energy as it took to create.

Hey there, thank you for being a fan of DROHAN! As you may already know Drohan has been reformatted and is now CLASH AT THE CARNIVAL (hence the new page).

We really appreciated your support of Drohan, and now ask for you to embrace Clash At The Carnival with the same zeal!

Don't forget to check out our new song: "Suicide For Lovebirds" !

Cheers,

Now I am rocking my socks off with DROHAN, a new powerhouse out of Vancouver. Please come check out our page, and if you like our sound vote for us daily to win the CFOX SEEDS contest!
