We first started as a band, when our school was hosting a Beatles Tribute show in November '06. We were four people, and did not have a bass player (2 guitars, drums, singer). Our singer hated himself and had his hands in his pockets during the show, We only played one song for the Beatles show, and it was Hard Day's Night. Right after the show, we dropped our singer, and found a new one, who had a better outlook on life. For about the next 8 months, we had 3 guitar players (singer played guitar), a drummer and no bass player. In September '07, we got fed up with our rythym guitarist, so we kicked him out while at the same time getting a bass player. We then wrote two really long songs (steve's song, and fall of a giant). Unfortunately, some asshole named gutiw came along and gave both of those songs terrible ratings, forcing us to take fall of a giant off the site. After writing these two songs, we went on a 6 month song-writing drought. We replaced our singer in May 2008, at which point our sound totally changed. We went from guitar driven rock, to fuzz bass heavyness. We have amassed around 9 or 10 songs since then, and we replaced our singer again in May 2009. In our recording process, we use no over dubs, double tracking, or anything else. Any guitar solos that happen have just bass and drums behind it. With Icarus, what you hear is what you get live
