Recent Updates: We just won an online national Battle of the Bands at supernova.com, and we won a trip to Miami to play in a music festival there! We're going to throw a party for everyone that voted at Griff's house so hold tight for more info!.
We're playing a killer show with Hotspur on the 13th, and another with The Manics on the 15th at the Town Ballroom. Message us if your interested in going. Also, were going into the studio in the the upcoming weeks to record so stay tuned for some new stuff!
Bio: Inlite is what emerged from a few years of madness. Its always been Griffin Smith and Jordan Dixon from the start. Josh Little and Nick Kelly were picked up along the way to form the band Vega. After almost a year of various shows we realized how many Vega's already existed and we changed our name to Inlite. We recently introduced a new member to the band, Lee Becker, who plays keyboard. We've kept ourselves busy playing various shows. On April 10th we were participants in Western New York's High School Battle of the Bands which was sponsored by Music is Art. After a long night and lot's of great music (*cough* Sleepless City) we were announced the winners. We were fortunate enough to win an autographed Goo Goo Dolls guitar, and perhaps the most cherished of prizes, a professional photo shoot with Bob Mussell and a spot on the Main Stage in the coming Music is Art Festival (September). On May 6th, we had one of our biggest shows yet; we opened up for the touring bands The White Tie Affair, Damiera, and Breathe Carolina. There are many shows coming in the near future, and we are looking into getting some studio recordings soon. Keep checking the myspace for updates. Thanks.
-Inlite.
