Biography

Allen “Izzy Batio” Murphy (born September 7, 1978 in Marysville, Ohio) is an American rock guitarist. Started playing guitar at the age of 15. Izzy has also played with Guitar Hero Dan Wells. He fulfilled his life long dream by spitting out six solo albums in a matter of months in 2010. Izzy is also the Lead guitar player in the band Dragline. He has experimented with Jazz, Blues, and Metal to form his neo classical/shred sound. On February 26, 2011 Izzy releases new album She Drives Hard. Izzy has stated that this album was influenced by such artists like Michael Angelo Batio, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, and Al Di Meola. Izzy plays Jackson Guitars, Behringer Amps, Pick Guy Picks, Ernie Ball Strings. Since the rise of She Drives Hard, Izzy releases new album Shred Your Skin. As of December 1st, 2011 Another Direction Turned is released upon the music world. Izzy stated in Jan. that this would be his final solo album. But February 10th, 2012 the shred machine tells all that he will be putting out gospel shred albums. Mr. Batio stated, "The Lord has kept me here in this world for a reason. And he gave me the ability to play guitar. So I feel I would shed light and uplift people with wonderful music through the eyes of our Lord Jesus Christ." Here we are late 2012 and Mr. Batio has been hard at work. He has 2 releases in the past 2 months. The latest work is the album Tattered and Torn.....We Need To Rebuild. Batio unleashes his piano skills and sheds a spark with the guitar mastery.

I take that comment well. I believe that the 80's offered alot of great guitar players. So I thank you for that comment.

Ghostbusta Hiro: favorite to least
1. funkalitus
2. metallica wanna be
3. missing in action
4. dead over valley
5. tribute to dimebag
they were great man, funkalitus was my favorite because the smoothness of it. I could just feel the song. i also like jazz and funk. metallica wanna be was my second because it is kinda like matallica but with your own kinda style. missing in action was my third becauseit sounds like something that would be found in a war movie. a song like that would sound a little better with a less set, in my perspective. death over the valley was a good song, i couldnt see much into it but sounded good. and finally tribute to dimebag, it starts out fast and stays fast, to me thats just too much rockin, it also sounds like a song that seems like it would be better with a singer and lyrics to go with it.

i hope reading this didn't waste 5 minutes of you life...
--Colin, stay sweet and rockin
