Johnny Good draws a very thin line between folk and progressive rock.
All the warmth and beauty from acoustic sound scapes, mixed with a structure of writing that is never
one way or the other. Born and rasied in BC Canada, he now resides in Vancouver
of beautiful British Columbia. Having spent his early teen years playing in a band called "This Days
Red" later formed his own band titled after his name. In the summer of 2008 till the summer of 2009 Johnny Good played in the popular Nanaimo band "Stokes the Mute" but then left the band with one short release of a five song ep tittled "The Kids" and over 60 shows within that year.
With his first solo release in 2007 called "Hope for an hour, pray for a coma" and his first tour accross canada in the winter of 2008. His second release in 2009 was a 5 song EP entitled "The Omed EP" and his second full length album tittled "Aelah-Satan" is set for release in the summer of 2010.
Having over all played 300+ shows from 2004 till 2009 Johnny Good has played with hundreds of different bands. Some include "Open, Parachute!", "Hey Ocean!", "Ten Second Epic", "ArmChair Cynics", "The New Cities", "Secret and Wisper",
"TheSet" and many more. The full Length album titled "Hope for and hour, Pray for a coma." was produced by
Armchair Cynic's Adam Sutherland in Victoria BC Canada and mastered by Waren Livesey.
His performance is varried and tailored for each show. No matter what instrument he plays along with the accompaniment of his voice, he engages the listeners with an honesty of sound and pure form of art.
