Alex Helperin

I'm Alex. I like noise music. I am in a band called Southern Sun and we play metal/alternative/shoegaze. We actually write very good stuff, and I'd like to think every song we write we grow a bit, as cliched as that sounds. I play guitar, mumble/growl/groan some vocals, dance up the keys a bit, and soon enough will shred the cello. When I write lyrics, I make sure they follow a concept, because concept albums are usually the best kinds. Other members of Southern Sun include: Mike Roukens (mikeyfatstrings) - Bass, Adam Sockett - Lead Guitar, and David Schmoll (DaveofThe21stCentury) - Drums, Keys. Southern Sun is my main musical focus at this point, and we are working on writing and recording an album.
