The JustTom Band

ustTom is comprised of three committed members. Tom Budge, who left his post-secondary education to pursue his dream as a musician and is the driving force behind JustTom. He was born in Sudbury Ontario, and migrated to St. Thomas Ontario in 2000. He is the principle songwriter for the group and provides lead vocals and guitar. Zach Larson-Caldwell has been with Tom since 2004 and contributes to song writing and vocal harmonies in the group. Zach was born and raised in Sparta, Ontario and has also put his post-secondary career on hold at Nippising University. Thirdly, Jonno Chamberlain is the newest member of JustTom and contributes through his excellent guitar skills. JustTom has spent the last few years playing clubs in London, outdoor venues and bars in St. Thomas, and continually working on their craft and networking their fan base. They’ve received 3rd place in Supernova’s 2005 Southern Ontario Battle of the Bands and have been a feature band in the St. Thomas Iron Horse Festival for the past two years. In the summer of 2006, London’s The Hawk radio station featured The JustTom Band on the air, in competition for a spot on stage with Peter Frampton. In early 2007 JustTom headed to the studio to record their second studio recording simple titled, 5 songs. JustTom’s music can be described as a very grass-roots sound. The guys blend a mix of rock/country/blues into all their song writing with a twist of poetic lyrics. It can be compared to such artists as Dave Matthews Band, Johnny Cash, Pearl Jam, Hank Williams, and The Tragically Hip.
