My venture into the music industry began 7 years ago. I was attending my first major music festival where I saw a young indie band play. The band made a big impression on me, and I went home thinking...how, with my limited knowledge of the music world, can I help them? I soon signed up to join their street team and began promoting them in my area. I worked hard, and studied marketing, and the music industry on my own. After a few months, management took notice of my hard work and promoted me to local manager, then regional manager, and I eventually became the promo team manager. I worked hard throughout, and was working with the band as they were spotlighted in Rolling Stone, when their video debuted on MTV, and when they finally signed with a major label.
Since then, I have gone on to work as a promotional consultant for several indie, and major labels and bands. I've toured the country with bands, and Warped Tour, booked several national tours for indie artists, and planned concerts throughout NY state. I have been working for Supernova since December, and look forward to my future with the company.
