Formed in 2005, LUCID has been carving their own niche in the Winnipeg music scene with a hard, straight-out rock sound all of their own. Since these five small town guys hooked up, They’ve been winning over fans with their explosive, energetic live show and have even shared the stage with such big named acts as Godsmack, Buckcherry, Default, Priestess, Hedley and Jet Set Satellite. With rotation on POWER97 (Winnipeg) FREQ107.1FM (Winnipeg)X92.9FM [Calgary] and Powercastradio.com(debuting on their top 20 chart and holding the 1 most requested song for 5 weeks straight) Lucid is working hard to become a soid name in the Canadian Music Industry.
In the summer of 2007, LUCID had been chosen by Heavy Metal Gods "GODSMACK" to join them on stage for their Winnipeg date hosted at the Centennial Concert Hall.
Also in the summer of 2007, Lucid had been chosen to be a featured band on both POWER97 and FREQ107’s compilation albums of winnipegs finest local acts.
LUCID is currently finishing their debut album "Aces and Eights" with producer Jason Gordon of Studio 11 Entertainment. The album includes some fan favorites such as "Point Blank" "Dead Mans Hand" and "Glory"... There is rumor to believe there might even be an acoustic track or two on there aswell ;)
