Formed back in 2009 Mattie left a band behind to form another project and so he put an add online for a bass guitarist and was soon answered by Spencer Matthes. They became really good friends and started working on some
originals. They soon met a drummer from Chile by the name of Alex Marin whos style mixed amazingly well with the sound and together they created a rock monster ready for the masses. They started booking shows all over Calgary and played as many venues as they could and were blowing the stage apart.The influence was a 90's vibe that was a big sound with alot of hooks, anywhere from a Nirvana kinda sound to silverchair,bush or the Foos with a Breaking benjamin hard hitting chants to Slipknot kinda screams the mix was hot. In 2011 the band decided to take a bigger step and invited lead guitarist Mr Davey Blitts into the project and ever since Machine Modified has found their significant others in the rock world.In 2012 the band is sounding amazingly huge and are definitely a 4-piece that are going to stand out in their genre for sure. They are currently preparing to hit the studio in the next month and record their first Lp demo.
