Speak Easy began as a Ska band in November of 2009, under the name In Reality. Although, Ska started being used less and less and the band simply became alternative rock. In February of 2010 the band changed it's name to Madigan's Lane and in the following months lost it's lead singer. The band continued with the three remaining members (Fellows, Moose and Kalef) with Fellows taking over the role of lead singer and lead guitar. The name was changed again in early May 2010 to Speak Easy. Along with a new name came a new sound. The band's Ska roots returned and influenced by such bands as Sublime and Slightly Stoopid, Speak Easy hopes to make it's mark on the third generation Ska that was so prominent in the late 90's. Speak Easy is better then ever and is ready to make music that will sweep people off their feet. "Life's to short so love the one you got". Keep those headphones blaring.
