Mike Ezzy Aka Mr. Night Life, was Born
as Michel Allen Smith and was raised on the
North Side of Long Beach where he began his
musical journey at a young age. In a household of
dilemmas and problems Mike Ezzy reached out to
sidetrack himself from an ever so harsh reality
and began utilizing his musical interests to escape it. Ezzy had a passion for music in every way. He started off by mimicking his favorite rap artists wile coming face to face with himself in the mirror Big Poppa, 2Pac, and Jay Z played a big roll in way Ezzy composed his material in the early years. Locked away inside of his room he began writing his material and expressing himself freely. Ezzy than built up a comfort zone with himself and began expressing his feelings to others in freestyle. Word of mouth quickly got around about this new hot rapper and was shortly discovered by a local music label. Ezzy now had no limits or limitations with studio equipment and original instrumentals at his finger tips.The studio provided the necessary materials that Ezzy would than utilize for booking his own shows.
With over 50 local Long Beach shows Mike Ezzy booked for himself he began to take his hobby more serious.
