Mockingbird

It all started at CCH (a London Ontario High School) when Jeffrey Fleming (guitars and vocals) went up to a former friend Jonathan (drums and vocals) and said, "Hey! do you want to start a band? I see potential with your drumming and with a bassist I know, Louis Park, this could be really awesome!" Jonathan said, "we'll give it a shot" and when we all got together on that saturday afternoon in May, magic happened. We wrote our first two songs in that day and felt like we could continue. Our first gig was a talent show at our school but we only had the chance to play one song. Let us just say that we left a great impression on all those who attended the show. From the beginning of our band's existance, we have been writing our own material and it has been fun. Unfortunately, Louis our bass player moved to Toronto in September of 2009 and our first full gig was coming up. Jeffrey and Jonathan were in a bind and concluded that Daniel Diaz was the man to take the post of Mockingbird's new bass player. He learned all he needed to in less than 2 weeks and played an amazing show with us out our first public gig. From there, the band broke up due to timing issues and creative differences; the band was up in the air for a little bit. To this day Jeffrey Fleming still remains part of Mockingbird with new Band Mates James Higgins (bass) and Adrian Whiteford (drums). The compatibility is better than it ever was before and the sound has improved and we are all looking forward to seeing all of you in the future :D The say the rest is history but we say, "we are just getting started!"
