Hey everybody thanks for dropping by. We were previously called Fallen Nitro. We have decided to change our band name to More Than Us.
Indie band More Than Us are 5 dedicated teenagers trying to reach one goal, that is music. Ironically , they are an indie band, but their well known vocalist Diego Gomes has been involved in the music industry ever since his victory of YTV's "The Next Star" season 3. "We get along really well, and are used to being around eachother, right when we get on stage, we build an instant energy connecting with our fans. Every song of ours sounds different, were not your usual band." Sais Alex.
Pop/Punk/Rock/House/Dance, and the list goes on..... "We want to make music that is enjoyable for a wide audience of different ages and different sounds. We take great pride in being able to do our role in the band and read, play and understand music." sais Jason "Its hard for me to balance being in a band and a solo artist, some people say its possible to do both, others say its not, all i know is that i love to do this, with my 4 other brothers and bandmates and we wont stop until we achieve our goals." sais Diego.
We are dedicated musicians and entertainers who love to get together and play music. We write our own music and also play covers of current Billboard hit singles. We have some venues scheduled for late 2011 and early 2012.
More Than Us are all currently students at the Ontario Conservatory of Music in Toronto. Studying music theory and classical jazz, scales, and everything to master their talent.
We don't really have a "style" of music because we want to be different and creative, by mashing up different styles of music into our own, that's what makes More Than Us an awesome band.
Present band members are Diego, Jason, Andres, David and Alex.
More Than Us is currently developing themselves as musicians and as people, also they are working on releasing demos and music videos for their original song ideas to eventually send out to record labels. They are playing shows all over ontario and doing everything they can to reach the top.
