It all started back in March of this year (2007) when I, Steve Heretic, was at work and encountered my coleague Ricardo the Mexican. It was a busy night, yet we found time to decide to start a band. A week later we jammed in my basement playing some old school blink 182 songs, just dicking around and then we made up a song later titled "Hacked One, Scene One." We added members gradually, starting with my good friend Paul Heretic. I should probably explain this whole Heretic thing. Paul and I were in a band called the Social Skidmarx that played around here and there then we changed our name to the Heretics where we decided to make Heretic our last name. So then it was three, Ricardo, Paul and myself. We all decided we needed a second guitarist, which is where I brought in a friend of a friend of mine named Mike. After Mike joined we couldn't decide on what to do for a singer, we had some people in mind but it didn't work out until Paul suggested our buddy Seb join as a singer, and he came and sang and was awesome so he was in. Now we needed a name... There were many suggestions but we all had trouble aggreeing on a name until we thought of Quentin Tarantino and realised we all loved his movies. Thus Mr. Pink was born taking on the name of Steve Buscemi's character in Reservoir Dogs. So we jammed, wrote songs until something bad happened. Mike was an amazing guitarist but never came to practice do to personal issues so he left the band and we were out a second guitarist.
It was difficult finding a rythm guitarist who fit in the band as well as Mike did until I brought KEvin CHew to the table...He picked up the songs quick and he fit in well enough so KECH was in. We played some shows and that's the story of Mr. Pink so far.... Then Mike came back and now he's back and it's sexy.
