Myerling

Our band name is Myerling, welcome to our space. We started out as a band consisting of Brandon Ossau and Mitch Henderson. We had many changes in members over the year. Brandon and Mitch had been playing for several years but were in serious need of a bassist and drummer. With skills,knowledge, and persistancy to play, Brandon and Mitch recruited long time friend Tyler Corriveau. But there was an obvious missing piece, this is when the three looked into Matt Nixon for a drummer. As a final band, the four started playing on March 12, 2009. Mitch and Brandon had written some material in which the others came together to finalize the sound they have now. With commitment and pride in what we do, Myerling is strong on the stage and is ready to play at any given time! The name Myerling was found from a friends middle name. With a alternative rock ring to it, the band had wondered what it meant. Erling means heir of the prince. The names dictionary meaning is My heir of the prince. Unsigned and with no recordings, publicity was hard for us,"We do what we can to get our name out there," said lead Vocalist Mitch Henderson. "Since all of us were terrible drawers, we asked our good friend Aly Malek to draw up some designs." This is when Myerling finally took off. You can now see them play at SuperNova concerts, school shows, and hopefully more in the near future!
