Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, and grew up in Coquitlam. I taught myself the piano when I was four and grew to love it, begging for lessons any chance I got. I finally got a real piano when I was 17. I had also started to teach myself guitar when I was 14, picking it up here and there in my spare time between classes. I also participated in concert band, playing clarinet, throughout middle and high school and also jazz band, playing tenor saxophone, during highschool. I joined choir in college as an elective course and I've played with Douglas College's concert band as a clarinet. I love cats, reading, writing, science (BSc in Biology from UBC), traveling, boats/sailing, water-bodies, nature, and the colours green, black, white and purple.
Since I participated in Fox Seeds last year many things have changed! I’ve moved a few times, oh the hassles! And through it all, kept playing music. I went through a few dry spells where my creativity sort of disappeared and recently had some inspiration and wrote some new songs – three of which now appear in my profile for entry into Fox Seeds 2011!
It’s been a great year so far, let’s keep it going and get this competition started! Good luck to everyone participating, and thank you to all my fans who vote for me every day until the end!
