Northern Rain is a group of four talented musicians whose aim is to entertain you!
Lead singer, Sam and drummer, Matt were in a previously successful youth band having played over 30 gigs. Upon its disbanding, Matt Friesen joined the group as lead guitarist. Jordan is the newest member, playing bass, to round off this energetic group. In September, Northern Rain was the headline band at Youth fest 2012 in Surrey. Having won Surrey’s City Jam they were invited to play on the Main stage at Surrey's Canada Day 2012, and had a chance to meet with Sam Roberts. They write their own songs reflecting their life experiences. They look forward to recording their first CD and touring the Country.
