Extreme energy, passion and good times! Oldbury loves to rock and believes that music should make you feel a fire in your belly. Their live shows are a blur of motion and crowd interaction filled with signature up-beat rhythms of rock, ska and punk.
Since forming several years ago, many people have become familiar with the tasty work of OLDBURY, be it through their time spent sharing stages across Western Canada with such acts as The Trews, 54-40, Our Lady Peace, the Odds and Gob, or from their debut album, 2008's TOO MANY LATE NIGHTS - which subsequently spawned radio airplay for songs such as “Vat Dreaded Girl”, "Changed Man" and "Darn's Luck". OLDBURY has caught the attention of the masses not only through their tireless and consistent musical onslaught, or by their energetic live show, but also by defeating over 70 bands to secure a spot in the finals for the 2010 Alberta's Last Band Standing, by winning the 2011 Kokanee Freeride Battle of the Bands, and by being asked to perform alongside such acts as A Perfect Circle, Seether, Three Days Grace, and as the opening band for Sublime at Boonstock 2011 in Gibbons, AB. With a recent addition to the lineup, the new single "Car Ride" hitting radio stations across the country, and their second full length album due out in early 2012, OLDBURY is continually poised to penetrate, plant their seed and musically multiply their infectious sound across the rock arena.
