Off the Wall is a progressive original rock group based in Edmonton, Alberta. Their music is made up of a melodic base that’s charged with emotion and political undertones. Off the Wall strives to improve their music by consistently raising the bar, setting goals and achieving them.
Besides recording and writing songs the band is building up the intensity of their live show with a set list consisting of over thirty original songs and several cover songs. As Off the Wall continually rehearses and books regular performances their fan base has multiplied exponentially, attesting to their unique sound and potential for success.
The idea of Off the Wall was introduced in the summer of 2004 when Dustin Théberge and Matt Demers, who have been playing guitar together for twelve years, decided to assemble a new group. They called upon their friend Jory Bourdon to play drums. Several attempts to complete the band and find a suitable bassist were unsuccessful until they met Greg Ferguson. He unexpectedly fit into the group and completed the band that would become Off the Wall.
Off the Wall is continually expanding their horizons by making as many contacts as they can within the Canadian music industry. The band says they want their music heard and appreciated by as many people as possible. Off the Wall acknowledges that the fans are who supports the band and hopes their fan base growth demonstrates their potential to attain success.
