Paranormus

Paranormus is an experience which cannot be described, only listened to and discussed. They were formed suddenly, on a regular Tuesday coffee-break, when some construction workers (Bill McAloney , Lee Spurrell, Chris Morwood), decided to say, "Screw this - let's jam instead!" They tracked down a rehearsal space, and had two more members recruited by Lunchtime. Bobby McAloney and Bill Chisholm signed on and they all began a weekly regiment immediately... within months, they had something going they knew they all wanted to pursue... feverishly. They continue to play live and write music at a methodical pace. They recently finished recording their first 5 song EP entitled, "Birth" at Vancouver's Greenhouse Studios. Quote from Lee Spurrell: "The music we make doesn't feel like something we own...or even made... To us, it's more like translating messages from somewhere beyond to the people who listen..."
