REZN8 - rez-uh-neyt 1. Produce a deep, full, reverberating sound. 2. Evoke or suggest images, memories and emotions. Besides the dictionary definition minus the spelling, REZN8 is also a Hip Hop lyricist, producer and performer. He was raised in Mississauga, Ontario amongst a community of talented artists. While developing his skills he worked at building with other artists across Ontario. Deep in the lab with Hawk mixing and recording his first LP release (yet to be named)he is heard saying “this is my heart and soul on this S#%*!”. The words are blunt but when you heard the music playing and hear the energy in his voice it is obvious. To create his sound he mixed emotions, life experiences and a lot of ambitions. “’If I had a dream’ is a love story about music and how it got me through a lot of things. How over time I may have strayed she kept with me and I kept with her.” REZN8’s past performances with his former group 3-5Playa included venues such as; Young and Dundas Square, The Hooch, The El Macombo, Reverb, The Congress Centre, Berkley’s Church just to name a few. Through doing these performances REZN8 was able to develop music that listeners can relate to and that is real. “..I ain’t waiting on the world to change, I’ll just change my world….”
