Riley Rogers and the Hangman Militia is a three piece progressive rock band from the heart of the Texas Panhandle. The sound contains elements of rock, blues, psychedelia, punk, and even metal while the lyricism holds true to the age old saying of, "Sex, Drugs and Rock N' Roll". Riley Rogers began recording for his debut album in the summer of 2011 at the age of 19, with the album set to be titled "Lust, Lies and Guns" and scheduled for a late 2011 release. Rogers wrote every song and recorded every instrument for the album on his own, and Hunter Beighle and Drew Cummins were then added to play the material live. All three members of the Hangman Militia were also the studio musicians for Jade Moore, the only deathrock artist known to Amarillo and are featured on his second album entitled "The Horrors of Love and of Death".
