There once was a lovely hippy girl named River and scuzy punk name Tred. They met each other in a city of ice and neon lights, and despite the differences in the scenes of which each of them came from, they fell in love... An odd couple indeed, but they were bound together by their love for music, and so they decided to start a band. They set out to find other members for their little project but after months of searching the icy streets and alleys of Calgary they found nothing but flakey hippies and gutter punks... All was not lost however. Tred had two old friends who stepped up to the plate; an indi punk kid named Big Bad Harvey and a blues cat named Charlie B. The four knew they all had very different tastes in music but thought it'd be interesting to see what they would create together. So Tred took the drums, Charlie B took the bass, Big Bad Harvey took the guitar, and River on vocals. Now they were all multitalented musicians, so Tred would sometimes play the guitar, Big Bad Harvey would switch to bass, Charlie B would take the drums, and River would stay on vocals.... And so the four piece got together and began creating songs that were a combination of punk, blues, folk, and ska... Months passed, many arguments arose because of musical differences, and the love between River and Tred faded and burned. But despite all this, the band stood bound together by their love for the ultimate from of expression, music....
