The Ruffian Royale have been quietly rising, behind the scenes and in the studio, and are now quickly developing a reputation as a great band to see live. Their music spans a wide variety of genres, most notably reggae and early rock, and enjoys the benefits of coming from a place of diverse influences. It's good, up-tempo music that is hard to put a label on, but represents snippets of things we all enjoy across the musical spectrum. Their debut EP, Juniper Flowers, was recorded in the spring of 2008 and featured appearances of a few musicians from the Sea to Sky area. Now as a four piece live act, Bryce St. Arnaud and Kris Casavant are joined by Mike Parpocki and Joe Watts to fill out the rhythm section. As well as banging out the shows and the good times, the boys are currently working at recording the follow up to Juniper Flowers, due to be out this spring 2009. Their music is available to download and enjoy FREE of charge at the group's website http://www.ruffianroyale.com
