This survey is such bull shit. Obviously if you ask someone in today’s 2.0 world whether they prefer the democratic voice of “collective wisdom” compared to the autocratic voice of an authority, they will choose the former. However, if you ask them to listen to a punk music chart created by some random Joe, compared to a music chart created by a collection of punk music experts, the choice would be clear. This is a clear example of the rift between idealism and practicality. Idealistically people like collective wisdom but practically they just want to hear good music regardless of how it was chosen.
