SILVERSTEIN Confirmed For Summer Warfare Finals! 8/11/2006 12:00:00 AM

SILVERSTEIN TO PERFORM AT SUPERNOVA’S SUMMER WARFARE FINALS! August 11, 2006 Victory recording artist Silverstein has just signed on to help Supernova Entertainment Group conclude its Summer Warfare Series at the best arcade facility north of the US border! The band will be joined by the programs finalists on Saturday, September 30th, 2006, at Playdium Mississauga (99 Rathburn Road West) for a day-long music festival spread over two outdoor stages. Tickets will be $20 in advance (purchase comes with a $25 Playdium Playcard) through participating bands or may be purchased online here (must have PayPal account). Doors at 12:00PM. Silverstein formed in 2000 in their hometown of Burlington, Ontario. Two EPs later, the band was picked up by Victory Records and When Broken Is Easily Fixed was released, selling over 200,000 copies worldwide. Cameron Webb (Motorhead, Social Distortion, Ben Folds Five) came on to produce the band’s sophomore album, Discovering The Waterfront, which will be re-released mid-September, 2006. The band is currently wrapping up Warped Tour 2006 and will immediately embark on a North American tour with Moneen, Underoath and others, through November, 2006.
