August 30th at Maverick's was a Hit....

AUGUST 30th Maverick's
Once again, a night of big crowds and rockin' bands. Supernova’s August 30th show was a smash, taking place at Ottawa's rock club Maverick's.
DYSPHORIA taking first prize and right behind them was THE FLAPJACK COMMOTION in 2nd. These guys will be heading to the finals September 30th at The New Capital Music Hall!
Taking the stage first was the sweet melodies of TEN STORIES DEEP.
Next up DISCOVERIES AND BELIEVERS rocked the house showing huge improvements in their performance. Way to go guys! 2nd place winners took the stage and blew the crowd away with their hardcore, jazz/blues instrumentation. All the way from Montreal special guest's ADD hit the stage with great confidence and showed Ottawa what Montreal rockers were all about. YOUR PORTRAIT HERE put on a great stage performance! The crowd loved these guys. DYSPHORIA our first place winners once again rocked Maverick’s. These guys are loud! Look out for them at the Finals! TANTUM hit the stage playing some great originals as well they had the crowd going with some great covers. FROM THIS BURNING SKY tore up the stage with tight rhythm, and screaming guitars. Last but not least was BORN UNDER MASSACRE. Smooth bass lines and loud screams. These guys finished the night off with a bang.
Thanks to all the Ottawa fans and all the bands that came out to rock the stage.
