What happens in Vegas....

The first Supernova show in Nevada was a great success. It was a bit of a trek from Las Vegas to Boulder City, but all the bands brought out their supporting fans and people were even walking in from the street to watch the show!
The Victims wanted to start the night off and they got the crowd going right away. They joined the show last minute and still put on a great set. From jumping on the drums to singalongs, their punk/hardcore sound definitely pleased fans. Justice League Aaron was up next and mixed things up with a rap sound and emo lyrics. Matteo's is his stomping ground and he gained some new fans that Saturday night with his set. The Back Seat Bus Drivers got the crowd skankin with their ska sound and brought some Boulder City Natives into the show. Runaway Pandas were next and they pumped out an early 90's punk sound. The crowd was really into dancing and the music by this time. Matteo's was packing in the fans for the next band, East Las Vegas's own, Urchin. They rocked out hard on stage and their original version of gothic punk got the pit going and landed them second place. Up next was Out Of Nowhere who brought out the first keyboard of the night a new hardcore/screamo sound. Our winner closed out the night with a great set of screamo music. All five members of The Attermath Of were great musicians and the crowd was super pumped at their impressive stage presence and melodic songs.
Boulder City was full of great music and great bands Saturday night. Fans and bands alike are excited to see how the demos of Urchin and The Aftermath Of turn out from their studio time at the Tone Factory Recording Studio. Thanks to everyone that came out and rocked out at Matteo's Underground Lounge. Can't wait for more Supernova shows!
