Supernova brought 420 to Ottawa a week early, but that didn’t stop everyone from having a good time! Saturday, April 14th, Mavericks: 420 Show Congratulations to the winners: 1st Place: Fighting for Survival (Rock) 2nd Place: Symphony in the Stairwell (Rock/Metal/Progressive) We’ll see both bands at the Ottawa Band on the Run Finals in June! Fresh Band Alert: Our team in Ottawa thinks we should pay attention to Symphony in the Stairwell. Plus, featured band of the night, Voila! (Alternative), traveled all the way from Montreal to treat Ottawa with some melodic, instrumental tunes! Something You Didn’t Know: Supernova at its best: we hear there’s been noticeable improvement with a lot of bands! Newbies (to us) like Dead Winter (Hardcore) also impressed!
