Shatter the Illusion

Shatter the Illusion has been around on and off since 2006 and are finally back in full swing. Taking on a heavier more hardcore sounds while retaining some finer and more delicate elements, STI will have you dancing and moshing all night long.

Mitch and Chad have been in bands together since grade 8, and have had many successes and failures with different lineups and sounds. Mike was found for bass when he moved in down the street from Mitch and Tim was suggested by Mike as lead vocals, as up until this point a steady vocalist was not part of the lineup. In the months following, the group was visited by a solid local following and disbanded shortly after New Years for reasons unknown. After a year the guys got back together, got writing, made old songs better, and have become what they are today. If you've seen STI live you've heard their true sound-a barrage of dynamic shifts in tempo and volume.
