Shoot Down the Moon

Shoot Down the Moon is a five piece indie/folk rock band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who has recently inidependently released their first full length album, Swollen Teeth. The members in the band have known each other from early childhood and have been playing music, and looking for their niche in the local scene since the 5th grade when they all decided that music was the way to go. Shoot Down the Moon originally took the back seat to the group’s main focus, Liv Kid, an energetic punk rock band. Although Liv Kid gained some local recognition, differences in writing style and personalities caused Liv Kid to break up, which allowed for the members of Shoot Down the Moon to have time focus on their own music. Although the two song writers have been creating material for the band for a long while, Shoot Down the Moon has finally evolved from a recording duo into a recording and performing quintet. Shoot Down the Moon is eager and ready to play for new audiences and to promote their new music and their new album, Swollen Teeth.
