In 2002 Sickamore’s unique sound was started in a garage with a good idea and a lot of drive. Six years later and with only two original band members, Sickamore has gone from the garage to the stage with fans across America. From Sex and Drugs to Pollution, Sickamore can’t be described as punk or metal. They have a style all of their own. With words and music written by the different band members this hard hitting band is going to the top

JARED BUTCHER – Lead Singer – Guitar

I come from a family of musicians and artists going back to my grandparents. I first began playing guitar when I was fourteen on a Harmony from Fingerhut. Ha-ha... I played off and on for the next eight years working on techniques, and writing songs. When I was twenty-two I got the chance to put my ideas to work and develop my vocals when I joined my first band, Live Bait. After a couple of years we changed the name to Sickamore. It has taken allot of work and sacrifice from all who have joined this band and I am proud to be a part of it.

K POK – Guitar – Backup Vocals

I have a punk rock mom who taught me to keep my head up, stick up for what you believe in, and what ever your passionate about is worth dying for. I have a rock 'n roll drummer dad, who got me into playing music in the early 90's. I played everything I could get my hands on. At first I spent weeks playing Black Sabbath's Paranoid. Then I was hooked on playing music, like it was the drug of choice. Influences are Tom Petty, Deftones, old Manson, and Moments of Charity.

ANIMAL – Drummer

Growing up in the streets of New York, you had to learn to take care of
yourself... and I did. I did everything and anything. I love all kinds music. Salsa, it's in my blood. When I was growing up my parents threw allot of parties and I learned to party hard and fast. Like I said salsa is my first love, but rock 'n roll is my soul. It made me the person I am today, strong, loud, and ready to kick ass. That’s what I'm all about.

EVAN – Bass Player - Backup Vocals

I began playing music on the piano when I was 10 years old. I took lessons for three years, and then I just couldn't take being forced to sit still and practice everyday. So I quit. I started playing the bass guitar in High School, when I was offered a spot in a band. I just had to buy the bass and amp. I spent several years playing in original and cover bands before joining Sickamore. My major influences are Cliff Burton, Steve Harris and Geddy Lee.
