Montreal artist Sly Furino spent the first 20 years of his career as a performer before finally sitting at the piano to create his own music. The result is an impressive debut album featuring lively pop/rock songs, powerful stories and moving ballads. You will love this unique voice!
“Living each day like it’s the last day of your life seems a bit heavy. However, living each day like it’s the first day of my life takes a load off my shoulders,” Sly says.
With the birth of his new baby girl, treating each dream, each project, each breath of life as the first became very possible and important for Sly. Being able to really feel all that the world has to offer, he felt inspired to write the album “first day of my life”.
This album is about pursuing your dreams because it is never too late to accomplish any goals you have, so long as you are breathing.
A devoted musician, singer and songwriter, this McGill University music graduate started showing musical talent at the tender age of 10 while banging on pots and pans. Today, Sly now owns a rehearsal studio (Jam Avenue) and an entertainment company (SophistOccasion). His greatest passion is composing original songs at the piano. Sly believes in momentum; he feels it is here and now is the right time!
